More Pollyanna BS

The nicest thing about having a bad cold or flu, is the way it becomes an incredible luxury to breathe normally once my sinuses have cleared. I just have to remember to notice it.

I’m just getting over the plague too, and in addition to appreciating the breathing when it returns, i like the raspy ‘bourbon’ voice i get… sexxxay!

Make sure you have deep breaths, and boy, what a difference this will make to your stress level.

Have you tried the Hong Kong favourite for colds? Hot coke with lemon and ginger. I’m sure some of the Hong Kong style cafes do it, or you could ask for “ee-leng-lok”. I love the stuff even though I did give a face at the thought of heating up coke but hey it’s yummy! He he he ;P

Oh in Hong Kong and Korea they believe that you shouldn’t eat chicken during a cold however the Korean soup “Sam-gye-tang” ginseng chicken soup works wonders!

I always think (in the midst of a cold) “I can’t remember what it feels like to breathe through my nose!!”

    Get well soon!

i have been perpetually plugged in teh nasals for a month or more,

I only mention it because to day i am very clear and i am now noticing that my office has “a very old house basement dank” smell. I suspect its the meltwater coming off the hill and up to the outside foundation of my office seeping through..

but thats beside the point. the point being that i am very happy to be clear of the blockagee, but the smell isn’t the best reward i could think of :)
